
(Associate) Medical Director or Global Clinical Lead (f/m/d) Oncology
Job description
We are looking to hire a (Associate) Medical Director or Global Clinical Lead (f/m/d) Oncology in a permanent, full-time or close to full-time (approx. 32 hour/week) position. We are located in Ladenburg near Heidelberg, but you can work remotely with regular visits to Ladenburg.
What awaits you:
As Medical Director / Clinical Lead you are overall responsible for providing scientific leadership for the planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials – this means in detail, that you cover the entire cycle from analyzing clinical data, preparing presentations, manuscripts and summaries as well as relevant clinical documents such as protocols, publications, reports, concept sheets and much more.
In this function you own an important role in & between several teams as you provide expertise for the clinical operations team, but you are also an active team member of cross-functional project teams and the subject matter expert in clinical and non-clinical drug development as well as participant in meetings with national supervisory authorities.
You are responsible for the interaction with key opinion leaders, investigators and consultants.
Additionally, you assure compliance with regulatory requirements – especially ICH-GCP – and we appreciate your contribution to the Clinical Development Plan, including FiH and PoC strategies.
Job requirements
What we look for in you:
You are a Medical Doctor or Pharmacologist or have a relevant Life Science Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years direct experience in the field of clinical development as study scientist, study physician, medical director or medical monitor.
You are experienced in therapeutic area of Oncology or Oncohematology
You have a good understanding of clinical drug development, pharmacovigilance, biostatistics and GCP.
You are assertive, highly process-driven and solution oriented and you have the ability to work in different forms of teams.
You possess an organizational and planning talent with excellent communication skills (written or spoken). You appreciate independent, structured and precise work.
Fluent Business and Medical English complete your profile. German language skills would be an advantage.
